Important answers to important questions

EU and EEA citizens can generally purchase a home in Denmark without the need for permission from the Civil Affairs Office.

If you are an EU citizen and live in Denmark now, you do not need to apply for permission.

If you have had permanent residence in Denmark for the past 5 years, you do not need to apply for permission.


Application for permission to acquire a permanent dwelling
If you do not have residence in Denmark in accordance with the Acquisition Act or have not resided in Denmark for at least 5 years, you generally need the permission of the Civil Affairs Agency (Civilstyrelsen) to acquire real estate in Denmark.

Juridisk gennemgang

Købsaftalen er netop signeret og handlen er næsten i hus – nu mangler vi blot det juridske arbejde inden tidsfristen.

Din køberrådgiver vil nøje gennemgå alle handlens dokumenter, så der opnås et fuldt overblik over eventuelle forbehold, regler, servitutter, lokalplaner, tidsfrister og lignende.

På et møde med din rådgiver præsenteres du for indholdet af handlens dokumenter. Sammen bliver I enige om en godkendelsesskrivelse, der fremsendes til ejendomsmægler, hvorefter der opnås endelig handel.

Inden nøgleoverdragelse sørger din rådgiver derudover for berigtigelsen: udarbejdelse af skøde, tinglysning af skøde samt udarbejde af refusionsopgørelse.
